The Brief: Following the agreement between Walkers and the customer, it was necessary to get agreement at store level for the placing of a Walkers Crisps stand. Walkers do not have a sales force visiting all shops.
The Solution: Telemarket all remaining stores to get agreement to place the stand.
The Results: 100% decision makers reached. 75% of calls had stands successfully sold to them vs. internal department who achieved 50%. This activity increased sales by approximately half a million pounds through the year 2000.
